Show Houses - Blackburn Development
Barratts at Kinmohr Gardens, Blackburn wanted to use their two family homes to launch the development at Blackburn.
The theme of the gardens was definitely family gardens. The front gardens were designed with ample planting rolling between both gardens which were linked by a loc-bloc path. The planting was structural and colourful to provide a real impact when approaching the properties. The rear gardens
were sloping down away from the house so steps were built leading down to a planted area with an arbour which had fragrant climbers growing at each side. Bollard light were placed either side of the arbour which provides a relaxing atmosphere when sitting in the arbour on a late summers evening with the scents from the climbers. As a feature in the opposite corner of the garden was a hand-made rustic childs swing. Planted beds around the back and sides of the swing provides a colourful backdrop, but the shrubs are very robust to withstand punishment.
